Danza del Sol Winery, located on the De Portola Wine Trail, is looking for the right candidate to join our tasting room staff.

Duties will include:

• Greeting guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Conducting wine tastings that are educational and fun
• Promoting the winery and selling wine
• Maintaining a strong rapport with wine club members and signing up new members
• Handling routine Point of Sale transactions
• Assisting with daily opening and closing duties
• Stocking of wine and retail items, maintaining an organized work station
• Tasting Room upkeep
• Smiling regularly

 

Qualifications:

• A positive and professional attitude
• A minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
• A minimum of one year experience in sales
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Ability to reach and exceed company sales goals
• Personal interest in wine and/or previous wine knowledge is a plus

 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (40-50 pounds) on a regular basis
• Must be able to stand for extended periods

 

Part-time positions available only, 10-18 hours per week.
Weekends, holidays and occasional evenings are mandatory.
