Letter From Bob Olson

Dear Valued Member:

When I founded Danza del Sol Winery 12 years ago, I saw a new opportunity and adventure. With your help and support, this journey has been that and more. Since the start in 2010, I have seen both of my kids get married, (one of them at Danza), and now am blessed to have 5 grandchildren. With my eye towards slowing down and spending more time with my family, an offer to purchase Danza del Sol Winery presented itself and I decided to pursue it. We have closed escrow and Danza del Sol Winery is now under new ownership

This has been a fantastic experience; it has been both fun and challenging and I have met a lot of amazing people along the way. My management team and staff will remain intact and will provide the same exceptional experience that you have come to expect at Danza del Sol Winery.

I’m pleased that the winery is in very good hands. The new owner is Ken Smith who has enjoyed tremendous success in Temecula Valley. Ken and his wife Tina have raised a family in Temecula with 5 sons and 8 grandchildren. In addition to having several successful local businesses, Ken is very active in the Visit Temecula Valley, and other community organizations. Ken founded Southwest Traders and is the owner of Galway Downs and Cross Creek Golf Club, very significant parts of the Temecula community. I’m sure Ken will be reaching out to you to introduce himself and provide you with more information about his background and strong philosophy towards continued great customer service.

Although I will be spending more time with my family in Minnesota, I will continue to be a part of Temecula Wine Country as owner of Masia de la Vinya Winery. I want to thank the many wine club members, patrons, and staff who have made the last 12 years unforgettable.
