Meet Our Wine Maker
Our Winemaker, Mike Tingley, has thirty years of experience in Temecula Valley wine country. He is a Professional member of the American Society of Viticulture and Enology. As well as being an experienced wine judge, his wines have won numerous Gold, Best of Region and Best of Competition awards over the years.
Mike was guest lecturer in Professor Donald Sutton’s “Microbiology for the Food Industry” class at California State University Fullerton for twenty years. He also teaches the “Winemaking Behind the Scenes” class for the Business of Wine program at the San Diego State University.
Vision of the Wine
The vision for the Danza del Sol wines, says Mike is, “To craft varietal wines and innovative blends that not only are delicious, but have an identity.
I’m looking forward to producing wines that cannot be found anywhere else. We would like to share our passion for our wines and our vineyard, creating memorable experiences for our customers.
